Type 2 diabetes mellitus co-exists with many persons who have physical, neurological, or neuromuscular limitations and disabilities. Given that physical inactivity increases the risk for various health-related problems, the role of an active lifestyle among persons with physical disabilities and type 2 diabetes may be central to their health and well-being. Drs. Larry Verity and Peter Aufsesser discuss physical activity program development, management, and recommendations.

Basic ideas and information for using the internet in your professional life. Susan Grosse writes - "While many people still go to libraries, access card catalogs, search stacks, sit in cubicles and take notes (or use copy machines), check out books, and then travel home again, others spend much less time and effort accessing a great deal more information while remaining in their own homes or offices. Their library is on a computer, available at the touch of a keyboard. These people are internet literate, using the internet to access needed data." Learn to be internet literate with the basic information provided in Dr. Grosse's article.
