• National Ability Center...A homegrown program for skiers with disabilities becomes a year-round, international institution 
                               Shelley Gillwald introduces readers to winter sports programs - skiing and snowboarding - available at the National Ability Center in Park City, Utah, as well as highlighting other programs available throughout the year. Their motto, shared with Disabled Sports/USA - If I Can Do This, I Can Do Anything - promotes the spirit to reach one's fullest potential.

  This test was created as a result of Project Target, a research study primarily designed to develop a health-related, criterion-referenced physical fitness test for youngsters (aged 10-17) with disabilities. • America's Zone Basketball Qualifier
  Relive the competition by the U.S. men's and women's wheelchair basketball teams held in Mexico City. The top three finishers in the men's and women's divisions were to earn a spot in the Paralympic Games to be held in Sydney, Australia, in October, 2000!
