USArtists is an annual exposition and sale of American art to benefit the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. USArtists98 marked the first year, however, that Extraordinary Art - Beyond the Museum, a juried and invitational Special Needs exhibit, was included. This exhibit featured artists with exceptional challenges. See some of their work and meet some of these artists!

Doug Pringle looks back at the history of skiing for individuals with disabilities. He looks at the Ski Spectacular, currently billed as the largest winter sports festival for people with disabilities. He traces its history back 50 years and looks at goals for the future.

What is MAGIC? Get practical suggestions and ideas for inclusive activities for children of all abilities in the physical activity environment. Specific games and adapted equipment are presented with creativity and flexibility being key!

Meet some of the interesting participants of these games. They ranged in age from 11 to 56, with various disabilities - from unilateral foot amputations to bilateral leg amputations near the hip. Find out their key reasons for participation in physical activity - their motivation, inspiration , and dedication.
